An experienced interpretive indigenous guide will take you through the rainforest and walk along private, easy graded tracks, visiting special places and culturally significant sites as well as walking over rainforest steams from above. Your guide will demonstrate traditional plant use, identify bush tucker sources in the rainforest, share dreamtime stories and help you to understand cave paintings. After your walk enjoy tea and damper and question time with your guide.
Back on the bus your guide will point out highlights of Australia's most northern sugar town, Mossman. Next is lunch at Daintree Teahouse where you can enjoy their specialty Barramundi and take in the beautiful surroundings of the rainforest and over look Mossman River.
After lunch is the Daintree River Cruise which is home to birds, snakes and most popular of all the salt water crocodile after the cruise the guide will head back to Port Douglas for a short historical tour of the town.
