Ocean Spirit Cruises offer Great Barrier Reef cruises visiting Michaelmas Cay, a protected sanctuary that plays host to 20,000 migratory seabirds. This unique sand cay is ideal for nature lovers, with 14 different species nesting on the cay.
Michaelmas Cay is set just 22 nautical miles from Cairns, the surrounding Great Barrier Reef is a breathtaking garden of exotic marine life, magnificent coral and giant clams. There is more variety of tropical fish here than the entire Atlantic Ocean.

This Great Barrier Reef tour offers a wide range of activities including snorkelling, scuba diving, introductory scuba diving, semi-submersible coral viewing, coral cay scientific tours and nature walks among a bird sanctuary.
Ocean Spirit’s semi-submersible Sub is currently undergoing a refurbishment. Work is expected to be completed by 09 July 2017. During this period a Glass Bottom Boat will be used for coral viewing until the semi-submersible Sub returns to service.
