Coral Sea Dreaming offers a fantastic way to enjoy and explore the Great Barrier Reef on their 2 Day 1 Night Snorkel and Dive Adventure. This overnight adventure combines the unforgettable opportunity to see the Great Barrier Reef with a small group, sailing aboard a comfortable 16 metre (50 foot) steel yacht.
Visit beautiful outer reef locations including Thetford, Moore and Millin and Flynn Reefs, which are located about 40 kilometres east of Cairns, each of which offer varying dive or snorkel locations, with different coral formations and featuring a multitude of tropical fish life.
Coral Sea Dreaming is a modern yacht made of steel with a beautiful wooden interior, offering different cabin options to please every traveller. Coral Sea Dreaming carries a large quantity of fresh water, and also boasts a generator, fridge and freezer to make Coral Sea Dreaming the perfect boat for your next exciting sailing adventure in North Queensland.
Accommodation on Coral Sea Dreaming includes Private Double Cabin and Shared Cabin space. Fresh linen, bath towels and access to hot showers is included.
Private Cabin: Bedding is 1 Double Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 persons.
Shared Cabin: Bedding is a Single Bunk Bed.
Day 1: Board the yacht and depart Cairns, enjoying light refreshments before departure. Arrive at the Great Barrier Reef and snorkel or dive the colourful corals and tropical fish then relax over lunch. Continue to explore this natural wonder throughout the day with afternoon tea served before a leisurely dinner on the deck with views of the sunset and coral reef.
Day 2: Wake up to the beautiful sight of the reef and sip fresh tea or coffee before a refreshing morning swim, snorkel or dive. Depart for your next reef location, where a full breakfast will be served. The experienced crew select an ideal reef destination where you can relax on the deck or enjoy a number of water activities before lunch is served. After lunch depart the reef heading back to Cairns where you can assist the crew or just sit back and enjoy the view.

Additional costs includes all training, guiding and equipment. Also new is the exciting and fun opportunity to participate in a professionally run SSI ‘Try Mermaid Snorkel Course’ at just $50 pp including all training, equipment with specialised mermaid tails and fins as well as take-home photo stick. Children: This cruise is not recommended for children under 4 years. The minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years for Introductory Diving and 10 years for Junior Open Water

Note: Not suitable for children under 4 years, non swimmers or people with mobility issues. All snorkellers and divers must complete a medical questionnaire onboard the boat. Certain medical conditions (i.e. asthma, heart disease, epilepsy) may preclude some people from diving. For further information on this please discuss with your consultant. Flying & Diving: Please ensure you allow a minimum of 24 hours from the end of your last dive (if completing multiple dives) before flying or 12 hours for single dives. The last dive is completed by 8:30pm on the first day and 12.00pm on the second day of the tour
Alcohol: Bar facilities are onboard with premium beers, Australian wines and soft drinks (No BYO)
Bags: Small overnight bag only. Soft bags without wheels are best if possible. No backpacks
What to Bring: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, beach towel, (bath towel provided), camera, small bag with your overnight kit (storage for excess baggage available on request). Warm clothes for coolers months and cert card/log book for certified divers
