Lovely clean apartments close to everything. No car needed. You can book onsite for all the tours and attractions and be picked up and dropped off at the front doorstep.

We enjoyed our stay. Feel you need a shower recess. Spa was a bit dangerous. Pool was a bit hard to navigate.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was huge and extremely clean. The service was fantastic and Kim and James were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Amanda was also very nice and helpful. We did find the eating places around Port Douglas a bit expensive but we were able to make food as the kitchen in our room had everything we needed. Thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable!
The Managers of the complex were just fantastic and loved staying there.
We really enjoyed our time at the Regal. The location is perfect - so central to everything but still nice and quiet. We had a room overlooking the pool which was lovely. The room itself was large enough and we didn't feel cramped. The only minor flaw is the design of the spa - we found no matter what we did, the water from the shower head sprayed out and onto the floor. But this wasn't a significant issue and was easy enough to clean up.
The service was great - they were very knowledgeable on which tours we should book in the area. The only thing that could improve the service is to include kitchen cleaning in the room service. This is the only place I've stayed where that is not included and we found it a bit odd. But again, this was only a minor concern. We'd certainly recommend this place to others and would stay again!
It was close to the main street. Walking distant to many restaurants. The desk staff were extremely helpful with any information about Port Douglas. It was a pleasure to stay at The Regal.
Would highly recommend Regal apts . Would suggest a small plastic bowl be placed in rooms to wash breakfast dishes. Warm welcome spotless apt and beautiful pool. Will stay again.

The Regal is a great place to stay and has all the things you need in a holiday hotel. But the stairs are a major problem. We were on the top floor and the stairs are a real problem, especially if you have heavy luggage. I heard other guests complaining about them as well. If you don't mind the stairs then this is a great place to stay and the underground car park is a bonus.
