Your day starts as you cruise to the reef in style aboard Tusa's superbly sophisticated catamaran, designed with ultimate comfort in mind for day cruising, diving and snorkeling on Great Barrier Reef waters. Access to the reef is supremely easy via hydraulically lowered water level platforms and the spacious back deck. Tusa carries a maximum of 60 guests although comfortable lounge style seating is provided for 120, which means there's plenty of space with 2 seats for every person.

Depending on the days conditions, the two best sites are selected from 15 premier outer reef locations. Tusa's dive craft are custom built for comfort and functionality. On board you'll enjoy air conditioned luxury, a full buffet lunch plus morning and afternoon tea. Combined with nearly five hours on the reef and a unique personal service, Tusa Dive provides an unforgettable Great Barrier Reef experience.

Itinerary

Tusa 5 departs daily from Cairns. The journey out to the reef takes approximately 90 minutes where you will visit 2 outer reef locations during the day. The sites are chosen as the optimum locations for the weather conditions, and change daily, so each day will bring you a whole new underwater adventure. Diving - Certified and Introductory - and snorkeling are all on offer at the reef, where 5 hours allows plenty of time to enjoy the water and topside activities. The day will include Marine Interpretation talks, guided snorkel tours, and underwater photography briefs.

Introduction to Diving: No experience is required with introductory diving. This option includes 1 dive and all scuba diving equipment.

Certified Dive: Dive equipment is included and the option of a third dive is also available on the day. Full dive certification is required.
