Sail to and explore this protected coral cay, with white sandy beaches and coconut palms, surrounded by magnificent coral gardens and the Coral Sea. Sailaway ensures your enjoyment with small numbers and personal attention. Sailaway moors in the sheltered blue lagoon, for four hours. Relax on the island, join the guided snorkel tour, take a trip on the glass bottom boat or laze on the deck after a superb buffet lunch.

A number of bird species reside on the island. On your tour of Low Isles you may encounter pelicans, honeyeaters, white breasted wood swallows, mangrove kingfishers, reef egrets with sea eagles and ospreys wheeling overhead. Later enjoy sailing back to Port Douglas. The reef around Low Isles comprises of 150 species of hard corals and is dominated by 15 species of soft corals. Living amongst the corals in the blue lagoon are a large variety of reef fish including angelfish, damselfish, anemones, giant trevally, sweetlip, fusiliers and many green turtles are sighted daily.

Frankln IslandsThe day begins with a leisurely cruise down the magnificent Mulgrave River. At the mouth of the river, the Frankland Islands slowly come into view and it is only a short open water crossing to your destination for the day.

Frankland Islands is the perfect location to discover the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Drift over an amazing variety of corals and marine life, including fish, sea turtles and octopus that inhabit the area. The sumptuous tropical buffet lunch is also a highlight. Dine on the island, with a choice of several salads, chicken, cheese, ham and prawns and an abundance of cut fruits served on platters.

The day is yours to enjoy. You have a variety of optional tours (extra cost) to enjoy; otherwise snorkel, discover and relax on the pristine white beach and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the island paradise. At 2.30pm, it is time to leave the island and the first boats begin to ferry passengers back to the main vessel. Afternoon tea of cake and tropical fruit is served on board, before arriving back to Cairns at approx 5.15pm.
