On arrival at your Sand Cay destination. Once the Helicopter shuts down you have the option of spending 2 hours doing what ever takes your fancy; swim or maybe a glass of champagne as you explore this miniature paradise. The island is yours and a delicious tropical brunch is there to enjoy. All too soon you'll board the Helicopter for your scenic return flight to Cairns. The flight patrols 300km along the Cairns Northern Beaches to Port Douglas, out to Low Isles, then across to the Daintree River. Fly over spectacular waterfalls and mountain streams in the World Heritage Rainforest enroute to Cape Tribulation. Leaving the coast, we head north to the famous Endeavour Reef and over the very spot Captain Cook grounded his vessel. The flight then tracks to the true outer reef at Escape and Agincourt, then south over all the spectacular reefs and cays including St Crispin, Opal, Tongue, Norman, Saxon, Hastings, Michaelmas, Oyster and Arlington Reefs before returning to the Cairns base via Green Island. highlights inclusions times additional information instant quote

Departing from our Cairns city Helipad, you'll see Cairns City, False Cape, Yarrabah, Cape Grafton, Green Island and surrounding fringe reefs. You'll get an amazing aerial view of this tropical marine wonderland. You'll appreciate not only the unique thrill of Helicopter flight but witness the colors of the reefs, the enormity of the reef as it stretches from horizon to horizon and search out the larger of our reef inhabitants, such as Manta, Turtles and Sharks.
Spectacular helicopter scenic flight
We'll give you that bird's eye view of Port Douglas and famous Four Mile Beach. Fly out past beautiful Low Isles for fantastic photo opportunities, then it's on to Batt and Tongue Reefs. You will marvel at the colours in the coral and diversity of marine life over the reef, before flying over our magnificent coral coast. Then it's time to 'snap' that postcard shot as you fly past and enjoy the panorama of the beaches on your way back to Port Douglas. 
See Marina Mirage and the quaint yet vibrant village of Port Douglas, before exploring the awesome rainforest from above. Photo opportunities abound as you fly past the icons of Mossman Gorge and some breath-taking waterfalls along the Great Dividing Range to the Daintree River. Then it's over the Alexander Range and Cow Bay before joining the coast at Cooper Creek and following the beaches past Snapper Island, to capture that postcard picture of the Daintree River on your way back to Port Douglas.
A frequent comment is that our guests wish they could spend forever viewing the wonders of the region from the air. This flight will allow you to venture a little further afield and have more time to appreciate the miracle you may have come across the world to see. You'll depart from Cairns city Helipad and see Cairns City, Green Island, Arlington Reef and Sandy Cay. View Upolu Cay, Outer reefs and the magnificent marine life from the air. Bring your Camera!
What a way to start a day! You'll take off over Cairns and the marina before heading out to sea and onto your reef destination. On the way you'll pass over a number of Reefs and your pilot will be able to help explain a little of the wonders passing beneath you whilst keeping a watch out for some of our larger reef inhabitants.

Experience the exhilaration of flying over the rainforest canopy of the World Heritage Rainforest then as you see the green change to the vivid blues of the water, you are flying over the 8th wonder of the world - The Great Barrier Reef. Flying low over the Reef, our pilot will show you the wonders that live beneath the sea. Landing at Agincourt Reef, on the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef, join the Quicksilver vessel and floating platform for a day of activities.

A pre flight mission briefing covers information on Marine Park preservation zones, daily flight route, expected sightings, points of interest and all safety requirements.
