Fitzroy Island Sea Kayaking Tour

This full day tour to Fitzroy Island which includes a half day Sea Kayak Tour offered by Raging Thunder Adventures, offers travellers a unique and tranquil way to see the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef and Fitzroy Island from the sea.

The adventure begins from Reef Fleet Terminal where you will take a 50 minute ferry ride to arrive on beautiful Fitzroy Island. From here, embark on your guided sea kayaking tour taking you to unspoilt areas of Fitzroy Island, which are only accessible by water.

Stop at Little Fitzroy Island, a small island off main Fitzroy, where you will have the opportunity to take a walk to the lighthouse to admire the spectacular view, go for a snorkel among the tropical fish and colourful coral or just laze around in the sun. The choice is yours. Then pick up your Lunch from the Island Beach Hut and make your way back to the jetty. Enjoy a free afternoon on the Island to relax in the sun, use the ocean trampoline, paddle skis or hol on to your snorkel gear for more time to explore. Then depart the Island in the afternoon for your return trip to Cairns.
