Quicksilver Outer Great Barrier Reef Cruise and FlyThis Great Barrier Reef tour offers the experience of flying over the rainforest canopy of the World Heritage Rainforest then over the reef to the Quicksilver platform. On the way your pilot will show you the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Landing at Agincourt Reef, on the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef, join the Quicksilver vessel and floating platform for a day of activities.

Quicksilver has facilities for both swimmers and non-swimmers to enjoy this stunning reef world. Explore the reef snorkelling, from a semi submersible, or from the underwater observatory. Relax as you return to Port Douglas or Cairns aboard the Wavepiercer catamaran.

Quicksilver Outer Reef Fly and Cruise

Enjoy swimming and snorkelling from submerged platforms. Activites onboard include underwater observatory for coral and fish viewing, pre booked guided snorkeling tours, certified and introductory diving and helicopter scenic flights. Fish feeding is conducted at the snorkeling platform at advertised times.

12.00noon: Lunch is served. Enjoy a hot and cold tropical buffet, containing fresh prawns, pastas, meats, salads and fruit. There are full bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks.

1.30pm: Lunch finishes. Time for more activity or just relax and take in the view!!

3.00pm: Depart Agincourt Reef for Port Douglas. Reef video viewing on board.

4.30pm: Arrival at Marina Mirage, Port Douglas.

Itinerary Options

Snorkelling expedition: Whether you are an experienced snorkeller or a novice, you can enjoy a guided snorkelling tour with the marine biologists.

Introductory Dive: No experience is required with introductory diving. This option includes 1 dive and all scuba diving equipment. To participate you must be over 12 years of age, pass an onboard medical questionnaire and participate in a 30 minute dive brief.

Certified Dive: Dive equipment is included and the option of a second dive is also available on the day. Full dive certification is required.

Ocean Walker - Helmet Diving: This gives non swimmers a chance to experience the reef during a helmet dive. You will walk under water on a reef platform whilst breathing fresh air delivered from the surface into your helmet.
