Poseidon Outer Reef Cruises operate this day tour to the Agincourt Reefs on the Great Barrier Reef. These Great Barrier Reef tours travel to 3 reef sites, 70 kilometres North East of Port Douglas to the crystal clear waters, enabling the best possible day boat diving. Snorkellers and scuba divers can see the beautiful coral gardens, and endless varieties of colourful wrasses, cods, parrot fish, clown fish, clams and anemones.

Poseidon III, is an ultra modern 24 meter, high speed luxury catamaran. With a top speed of 30 knots, offering a faster, more comfortable trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, resulting in more time at each of the three sites visited daily. Poseidon III features a large air-conditioned main saloon, a spacious top sun deck and wheelhouse salon, and a purpose built 8 metre rear deck with a lowering transom which makes access to and from the water extremely easy and un-crowded.

Poseidon Cruises is committed to preserving this beautiful and fragile environment. Moorings are used to prevent coral damage, and sewerage holding tanks avoid pollution of the Reef. No fishing or collecting is undertaken. Poseidon holds an advanced ecotourism certification and is one of the few operators with a permit to swim with the Dwarf Minke Whales.

Poseidon holds the permits for 45 locations at 16 different reefs, traveling to the furtherest north reef site away from other day boat operators. The sites on this Great Barrier Reef cruise are chosen on the day offering the best conditions, all the sites are spectacular and suitable for snorkellers and scuba divers alike.

Introductory Dive: No previous experience is required to enjoy the thrill of scuba diving under the supervision of the highly qualified instructors. Enjoy up to 3 introductory dives at 3 spectacular locations, or spend part of your day diving and the rest snorkelling. Children under 12 years are not accepted.

Certified Dive: Includes 2 dives (drift and wall dives) with tanks and weights. The Agincourt Ribbon Reefs are 70km North East of Port Douglas and on the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef, enabling Poseidon to offer the best possible day boat diving.
