Experience the fun & unique sensation of hot air ballooning in the Atherton Tablelands at sunrise, on this 1 day Port Douglas tour.

Enjoy Tjapukai History, Dance + Creation Theatre + Cultural Village. On the Skyrail Cableway, journey through world heritage rainforest, where you can stop off at any of the stations en-route for a more informative look. The return journey down the scenic Barron Gorge is via the Kuranda Rail.

Itinerary

5.00am: Pick up at hotel, one hour transfer, pick up times confirmed on booking
6.30am: Experience the fun & unique sensation of hot air ballooning downunder. Your balloon floats over the picturesque landscape at sunrise, breathe in the wide-open spaces!
8.00am: Return and Landing, balloon pack-up and lots of laughs.
8.30am: Come down to earth and enjoy breakfast & champagne, fresh juices, eggs & bacon, tropical fruits & a hot and cold buffet is all yours as you relax in the open air restaurant and have a browse at the selection of Cairns' souvenirs.
10.00am: Check in with Down Under Tours representative. They will provide you with directions and timings for your tour along with your Skyrail tickets. Enjoy Tjapukai History, Dance + Creation Theatre + Cultural Village.
12.30pm: Prepare to board Skyrail for the journey through world heritage rainforest stop off at any of the stations en-route for a more informative look
1.45pm: Arrive Kuranda - shop + relax. Take in lunch at a sidewalk restaurant (own cost). Market days are every day but strongest on Sun,Wed,Thurs,Friday.
3.15pm: Check in at the Kuranda Rail ticket office, for your journey down the scenic Barron Gorge to Freshwater Connection.
4.50pm: Train arrives at Freshwater Station, transfer to your accommodation via Down Under Tours.
