Ballooning & Green Island Tour

Experience the unique sensation of a hot air balloon ride over the Atherton Tablelands as the sun rises over the horizon, followed by a champagne breakfast.

Then it's off to Green Island, onboard Big Cat's high speed catamaran for a 45 minute journey to Green Island. Explore the marine inhabitants of the Great Barrier Reef by snorkelling or keep dry and enjoy the view from a glass bottom boat.

This Great Barrier Reef Tour is a great way to see the natural beauty of North Queensland from the air and below the surface of the water, on your next tropical holiday.

Itinerary

5.00am: Pick up at hotel, one hour transfer, pick up times confirmed on booking
6.30am: Your balloon floats over the picturesque landscape at sunrise, breathe in the wide-open spaces!
8.00am: Return and Landing, balloon pack-up and lots of laughs.
8.30am: Come down to earth and enjoy breakfast, champagne, fresh juices, eggs & bacon, tropical fruits & a hot and cold buffet is all yours as you relax in the open air restaurant and have a browse at the selection of Cairns' souvenirs.
10.30am: Check in with Big Cat Green Island Cruises at Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal.
11.00am: Big Cat high speed catamaran departs for 45 min journey to Green Island
11.45am: Arrive at Green Island to explore the reef and relax on the island. Choose from either Snorkelling equipment or glass bottom boat. Lunch is by own arrangements, Big Cat have lunch available on board their boat.
4.15pm: Big Cat Departs promptly at this time so it is best to be at the Jetty at least 10 minutes prior
5.30pm: Arrive back in Cairns, transfers provided back to your accommodation.
